 Connections not right in description, 2008-09-05
I purchased this television primarily because Amazon's description says that it supports DLNA and has an Ethernet port. To my disappointment, I can find NO Ethernet port or any mention of DLNA in the manual. I like the TV after one day and it comes with a fine remote (not like the piece of junk that came with my Philips). I have not decided what to do about the lack of DLNA though. Anyone have the same opinion?
Update: Amazon, as well as all of the other web retailers that I've found, have the sales literature incorrect. I called Sharp. You do not get DLNA or Ethernet with this TV, that comes with the larger 40+ inch displays. Also, if you've looked at a lot of TVs, one nice feature that this model does not have is a selectable menu of all the TV stations that you have preset. The only way to get to a station is to station up or down until you get to it or to key in the station number with the keypad. If you have Cable, that means that you would need to remember all your favorite station numbers. A show stopper? It may warrant a return.....

well this is a great tv just wished they would have sent my order. J&R canceled my order with no reason or substitution. just said it was canceled and that was it.. never buy from J&R.. Amazon could have done alil better also in trying to help me find out what happen since my credit card did get charged and then get refunded so it wasn't like the order was not sent which is what Amazon is saying.

Good TV for Good Price, 2008-08-08
I searched a around and found only this TV with reasonable price range and positive reviews to maximize my 38 in cabinet. After 2 weeks of receiving the new unit from Amazon.com white glove delivery, the TV is awesome, performed as promised and my brother-in-law wants to get one too for his bedroom(he just got a new Samsung 46in). Oh and I just found out Amazon.com dropped another $100!

 DO NOT BUY!, 2008-08-07
Had the misfortune of buying this TV. Shipped out of Sixth Avenue Electronics fairly quickly, but when I opened it up and tried to power it up all I got was a flashing green light at the front of the set indicating that there was a power issue to the set--no sound, picture, anything. No return on defective product so having to go through sharp. Five calls later I get an appointment for customer repair. A week later they inspect the TV and detail how I need a new inverter and so on. More wait time until the parts come in and we will see if they can fix.
My money was sure accepted without a glitch, I wish I had a working TV to show for it. Thus far I have an expensive rock in my living room. Learned two things: don't buy a "sharp" product and make sure you can return a defective product for a full refund before pressing the buy button.

EVER SINCE I HAVE THIS TV, WATCHING FILMS, LISTENING MUSIC HAS BECOME AN EXPERIENCE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT, IT TAKES 10 OVER 10 FROM ME.
