Best 20 minutes you can spend!, 2008-05-21 If you're like me, it is hard to get motivated after a long day. I figure if I can't do a 20 minute workout then I might as well give up on getting fit. This workout rocks! You truly get a quality workout in 20 minutes.

Quick and Effective!, 2008-05-20 I didn't think I could be so sore from a 20-minute workout video (which means that it really works)! I am in good shape (I just ran a half-marathon two weeks ago), and even the Level One workout is tough for me. I love how Jillian multi-tasks the strength exercises so that your time is used VERY efficiently. It's easy to follow and the moves are easy to figure out. I love this video because it's really tough, but because it's over in just 20 minutes, you don't mind! Jillian also does a good job of encouraging you. This video is definitely worth your time and money!

Maximum results with minimum effort, 2008-05-20 I can't speak highly enough about this workout. I first tried it on Exercise TV (on Comcast on Demand), and loved it...but they only offered the first two workouts. I bought the DVD to see what workout 3 was like. Man, it's tough!
But all three workouts are succinct, intense, and they only last 20 minutes! (During the hardest part of the workout, I remind myself that I only have to work hard for a few more minutes and that really helps me to push it out.) Best of all, you'll quickly see results. Since I started doing the Shred, EVERYONE has commented on how great I look or has asked if I've lost weight. The Shred also helped me bounce back from a particularly naughty week in New Orleans and I'll be using it to prep for the beach weekends throughout summer. I haven't logged onto Jillian Michaels' website to get the meal plan (yet), but I'm guessing that would accelerate things.
I've found these workouts to be great for weight maintenance and the moves are easy to follow for those who have a hard time with choreography. It leaves you looking and feeling more defined. Workout 2 (which I think is the hardest) is a real waist-nipper. I love it and would highly recommend the Shred series to anyone who's short on time and/or wants quick results.

Worth every penny! Best work out ever!, 2008-05-20 This dvd is great! I bought this about 1 week ago and in that short time i can already feel a difference in my stamina. i started off with level 1 and at first i thought jillian was trying to kill me! I reached 11 minutes of the workout and thought of just shutting the dvd off...but i realised i had already finished half the workout! 20 minutes is an amount of time which anyone is willing to spend, before you know it its over (although your muscles will remind you the next day...very sore!) Well worth the money! if you're a busy person looking for a short but effective work out, i strongly recommend this dvd!
