The software was easy to use and made preparing our taxes much easier. It was nice having ALL the forms we needed as we worked through the process. The prompts in the program given at certain points helped to reduce our tax which was nice.

    Easy as Pie!, 2008-05-09
This is a very easy product to use and does an audit of entries and looks for red flags...you want the largest possible return use a $400 CPA if you want quick and easy (and Conservative) this is the best I've seen.

    Bye bye accountant, 2008-05-08
There are sections for all different types of investments and rental properties, 401ks and such which made this year's version much more thorough than I expected. Pretty straight forward interface too. I've been using it for a few years now and recommend it.

    Great Product, 2008-05-05
This definitely makes doing taxes much easier. When I worked out my 2007 taxes before using TurboTax I owed about $150, after using TurboTax I received a huge refund. The only minor drawback is, that you have to pay about $40 per year to file your taxes. But that is much less than going to H&R Block.

    Some great, some bad, 2008-05-04
Intuit seems to get some things perfect while intentionally screwing up other details. By intentionally I mean details that worked fine in previous versions that suddenly give different results or answers. I was not eligible for a child credit. The software provides a helpful looking link that says 'Why Not?'. The link however does not answer the question but provides other links and speculation as to 'why not?'. TTax knows exactly why not. TTax forces you into guessing whether the software has made a mistake or not. How do you check? Anyone encountering this midnight on April 14th might have a coronary.
