Right on the money., 2008-01-02 I am used to having trouble with Mac applications. Almost every one I buy these days has piracy protections so severe that it makes (legal) installation difficult or impossible, or it just doesn't work like it is supposed to. (A notable exception to this would be Adobe products, incidentally, but I digress) This product was 100% trouble free from start to finish. Installation was a breeze. Everything worked like it should. Then, after everything was set-up, the darn thing worked like it was supposed to also. It works perfectly. I have zero complaints and nothing but praise for this product. I wish they were all this easy and worked this well.
VM Fusion is GREAT!, 2008-01-01 I have a new iMac running Leopard. I had to download version 1.1 of this product from VMWare's website but the process was straight-forward. It installed easily with the serial number I received from version 1.0 and has worked flawlessly. I have created two virtual machines on my iMac including Windows XP Professional. What I heard is true. Windows actually does run much faster and with fewer problems on my Mac than it does on my PC.
I LOVE being able to switch between operating systems without having to reboot. Shared folders allow files to move easily across multiple OS.
I'm not really a Geek, and I was able to figure this out. It's a must have for those who are migrating to the Mac world from Windows. It truly is the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!

Best Way to Run Windows and Mac at the SAME TIME, 2008-01-01 My friend got this for me for Christmas and I installed it on my new Macbook Pro with Leopard. I'm running a 2.2 Core 2 Duo Proc with 2 Gigs of ram. It's sweet. I can easily run windows XP along with other mac programs. However if you intend to heavily use windows XP or Vista, get more Ram, so you can alow more ram to Windows.
My Laptop is now the ultimate computer, because I can use Microsoft Access and ANY other windows program on it. I no longer need to bring two laptops around for projects, etc. Also, this is better than Parallels. VM Ware has been in the business longer and used to make this program for the power pc. Its way better than boot camp as well, because Windows becomes a virtual program that I open up inside Mac.
This is Great.
Works fantastically, 2008-01-01 I am using it to run Windows XP - No problems - A button in spaces and its there - hit it again and I am back to Mac. My windows friends can't believe how easy and fast - I can have it there way and my way at a key stroke.

best solution, 2007-12-29 I used to have Parallels- when I upgraded to 10.5 I switched to VMFusionware. It is so much better than Parallels- it just works. It's still kind of a ram pig and works best if Mail & Safari or Firefox are closed first.
