Best value for money, 2007-12-31 Best value for money and ease of use financial software ever. Have used this software for about 15 years now.

Thanks I needed the reviews to make a decision, 2007-12-27 I have been debating about upgrading from Quicken Home and Business 2006 to 2008 and it looks like I will be waiting for a more stable product. I use Vista which is already a little squirrely and applying an unstable release of vital software on top of it at the beginning of tax season sounds like a suicide mission. Even Intuit's own web user postings are scary. Thanks to all who are beta testing for the rest of us. We feel your pain and appreciate your sacrifice.

Did anyone test this software?, 2007-12-24 What serious and professional company would release software that has not been tested to run correctly when you have a Mircosoft Brand mouse?
If you use a recent microsoft mouse and have Intellipoint drivers installed, Quickbook 2008 will exhibit screen flickering that will make it impossible to use.
Intuit has been aware of these problems on their forums for months.

New Features Help Me Organize, 2007-12-12 I have used Quicken since 1995 or so and have had various versions throughout the years, the last being 2006. I have found this version the easiest to use as far as importing transactions from my bank. I did find it difficult and quirky with my credit card accounts however. My favorite feature is the ability to add attachments via scanner, file or clipboard. I use all three depending on what kind of documentation I have. I have Adobe Acrobat and can print order confirmations etc. to a .pdf file and attach it to the transaction. This has really helped me with so much keeping all of the documentation from my online transactions. For paper management, I can scan and attach receipts, paycheck stubs, etc. and have them easily found within Quicken. I was going to buy the Quicken Home Inventory program to integrate all of this information, but I found out that the Home Inventory does not support .pdf files which is just obnoxious. From reviews that I have read about Intuit's newest software, it seems like the company is going downhill. I personally have not had any problems with this version of Quicken but then again, I have fairly simple transactions.

Good product--worst customer service ever from Intuit, 2007-12-11 I update my version of Quicken every couple of years as I find it useful in creating budgets, tracking my finances and keeping me organized in general. HOWEVER, I feel compelled to warn anyone considering downloading this software from Intuit...DON'T!!!! Not only did they charge my credit card three times for the one purchase, I had to spend the better part of my afternoon trying to get someone to refund the $160 erroneous charges to my bank account. The 800 number on their website refers you back to the website and then hangs up on you. When I contact their legal department I was referred back to the website. Each time I went to the website and tried to enter in my order number (so I could file my complaint as directed, I was told that my order number had too many digits and they couldn't process it. Finally, after three live online chats with someone in India (Thanks, Sigat!), I was told that they would refund the two incorrect charges. In seven business days. That doesn't help me all that much when it's 2 weeks before Christmas...It only took them a milisecond to deduct the funds...why does it take 7 business days to put them back??!! Intuit, I hate you.
