A Great reading Light, 2008-10-30 This is a great portable reading light! It works best with hard-cover books or your Kindle because of the type of clip it uses. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries that seem to last an incredible lenght of time, even when you fall asleep reading, as I often do.
as advertised, 2008-10-30 very good little light. two brightness settings, has a solid build feel about it, flexible neck holds position. very pleasing little device
Book Light is great, 2008-10-30 The book light is great. It can be use anywhere and because of the long neck the light can be adjusted to fit the surrounding environment. A bit pricy but well-worth it.

Great Reading Light for the Kindle, 2008-10-28 I am VERY glad that I bought this. In my book I have already gotten my money's worth.
The flexible arm is very positionable and also sturdy so that it won't droop or move from where you place it.
The LED lights are nice and bright. They are perfect for reading. No more need for eye strain. To tell you the truth I always used the brightest setting. I haven't found a need to dim it. The direct light is nice and localized so I don't feel like I am blinding anyone next to me. However, I mainly use this light at home so I could see wanting the lower light setting in a public place like on a plane. I just haven't needed it yet.
The main thing I like is being able to read no matter where I sit. Now I can choose my most comfortable seat without having to adjust so that my Kindle is pointed toward the lamp. Mainly I read at home but I have taken this light and my Kindle camping and I was able to sit in a comfortable camping chair in the pitch black of the morning and read as soon as I got up with no worries about light. I'm an early riser. :)
The only thing I have to guard against is keeping the glare of the lights off my view of the Kindle screen. This isn't really even a problem and it is something I think you would have to deal with using any reading light. Depending on how I sit I need to position the light generally to the right or left of the screen depending on my view. This is where the positionable and sturdy light arm comes in handy again. I am always able to position it so that there is no glare and I have plenty of light across the page.
I highly recommend this light if you are looking.
Bright Light but not for the Traveler, 2008-10-27 I love the brightness of this light. I am a frequent flier and the airplane lights just don't cut it. The only problem is that I find my light on everytime I pull it out of my travel pouch. The location of the on/off button causes it to be accidentally turned on the minute just a little pressure is applied to it. It kills my battery life!
