 Please save your money - Keep 2007, 2008-02-04
No significant updates and activation problems.
This is a mess. I have purchased upgrade every year and this year is worthless.
Save you money and stick with 2007.

Simple as that. I am an avid fan of Streets, and Streets and Trips. I have used them for years. I like this one the best. Wish I had a lap top, then I would use the GPS features of the higher models. Well worth the price even if you are just going someplace local.

I bought this software because I needed to update the program. I had the 2004 program loaded in the computer. This seems to have solved the problems I had been having with the old program giving incorrect information.
Upgraded from 2005, 2008-01-15
I used Streets and Trips 2005 and wanted updated maps. I'm pleased with the maps and the program. I have always preferred this map program. It is disappointing that it now requires activation. I managed to get it installed on both my laptop and desktop with no issues, but I'm sure I'll have to deal with Microsoft's terrible customer service if I ever have to reinstall. Unfortunately, I haven't found a program that I like more than Streets and Trips that is offered for a reasonable price.

Very good product. I use this software to plan trips
especially on my motorcycle. It gives me a good
feel for the trip and has the latest construction updates
to help in the planing. Especially with todays fuel prices
it's a great tool for the most direct route. Additionally,
it can be installed on a lap top computer and plugged into a GPS
unit for in the vehicle navigation.
