MacDrive 7 works great, 2008-03-16 I've had MacDrive 7 for about a month now and I am very pleased with my decision to purchase it. It makes life much easier to be able to move files from the MACs that I work on to my PC at home. I have had no problems and would recommend this product.

MacDrive 7, 2008-01-14 Seamless and smooth installation and operation on Windows XP. Well integrated with the XP user interface so the learning curve was essentially zero. I purchased this package to serve an immediate need to be able to deal with a USB hard drive I had received from a client running a MAC OS. I had the package the next day (with overnight shipping) and it installed and worked within minutes of receiving it. I am VERY satisfied with this product.

program work well, when it works, 2008-01-01 There are a couple of major issues you need to consider when thinking of purchasing this software.
First off, the program does not work with drives that you have created using the Mac Raid feature under the disk utility. Since i have drives configured this way, it came as a very unpleasant surprise, since all of the descriptions state categorically that it works with ALL mac drives. This is a very misleading and unethical presentation in my opinion. Amazon, if nobody else, should insist that a caveat be noted in the product description that MacDrive works on all mac drives EXCEPT those raid drives created with the mac drive utility.
When i asked the macdrive customer service about this discrepancy they admitted that is does not work with raid drives but at the same time staunchly maintained that is still works with "all" mac hard drives. Make your own decision.
The second major issue I'm having is that macdrive does not show any drives at all when running under Parallels. It does work as described above under boot camp, but i run Vista on my mac in both modes, so it is a severe limitation in my opinion. The info on the macdrive website seems to indicate that they think macdrive is compatible with parallels. Having gotten nowhere with their customer service before, I'm just hoping some other people report it and they fix it.
So, if you think you can get enough use of it, knowing the limitations, it may be worth the money.

Love it, 2007-12-20 I'm using MacDrive 7, and I used MacDrive 6 as well. It does exactly what it promises. It lets you work with Mac-formatted drives on Windows machines, and those drives function just as they would on a Mac. You can even format them in HFS/HFS+ if you'd like. Highly recommended for those in a mixed computing environment.
