This is really nice. You just charge the EXTRA battery and that way you can keep on using your phone. It prevents your phone from being tied up on the cord as it is charging. The only down side to this is that you need an extra battery and that you need to reset you palm every time that you take the battery out. A small price to pay for a great comfort of always having your phone with you, as the other battery charges.
Saves the wear on the power connector of your Palm mobile phone, 2008-08-10
I was a little disappointed that this device did not have its own power cord, but rather relies on an external charger to be provided (either the home wall charger or car charger will work). The best thing about this device is that it saves the wear on the power connector of your Palm mobile phone (good for the 600, 650, 700 series at least). A little slower at charging the battery than using the mobile itself though.
Nice accessory, 2008-07-14
This actually has been one of the better accessories I've bought for my Palm Treo. It has come in VERY handy to charge my spare battery. It also works well as a protective case when you're not charging it. The only reason I docked it one star is because the little red light that tells you it is still charging stopped working (after about a year). However, the little green light still comes on when it is done charging.

This is a near perfect product. One that is barely larger than the battery it re-charges and acts as a protective case. Since it uses the same cord as the phone charger, you have eveerything you need in one hand,

My Treo uses a battery a day checking for email, etc. on top of the yakkety yak. This neat little box charges an extra battery for those awkward moments when power is low and I won't be near a charger, and is an ideal place to keep the battery's contacts clean until needed.
