 Disappointed., 2008-09-15
I purchased this AutoCAD LT 2008 product to upgrade my LT 2006 version, which was incompatible with the new Windows Vista format. I could not get it authorized and AutoDesk was absolutely no help. They were very slow to respond with even an acknowledgement of my inquiry. Once I spoke with someone (after several email attempts and messages) they would not help, since I "purchased this product from a third-party vendor". I am an architect and need to draw! I will try everything in my power to never purchase another AutoDesk product for the entirety of my life! The folks at TECHforLESS (from whom it was purchased) tried to help, but said that AutoDesk would not speak with them about it, either. They kindly let me return it for a refund.

 Also upgrades LT 2005, 2008-06-23
Very happy with this product. We were running AutoCAD LT 2005 and discovered that the new LT 2009 did not have an upgrade for LT2005. We hurriedly ordered 2008 upgrade before they were taken off the market but had trouble finding a version listed for upgrade of 2005. The versions that we found listed as applicable for LT2005 were more expensive than the ones listed for 2006/2007. Fortunately, all 2008 versions are upgrades for 2005, even the ones listed for LT 2006/2007.

Compatibility, 2008-01-02
Migrating from Windows XP to Windows Vista my version of AutoCAD LT 2006 was not compatible. I had to upgrade (+$300) for this sole issue.

Be Careful!!!, 2007-12-18
Be careful before you purchase your upgrade. I'm a licensed AutoCAD LT user, but when I went to purchase this upgrade, I received an academic version. I didn't realize this until I downloaded it on my computer. The description of this item and the labeling on the box I received didn't show this and now it is to late to do anything about it.

Vista comparable, 2007-12-13
My 2007 LT never work with Vista, no much help from Autodesk. I end up buy 2008 LT and this one compatible with Vista but cost me lot money for signal issue. I am rating the Autocad compatible service not the program self.
