 Great all in one protection, 2008-04-17
I don't know a lot about software, so when I purchase them, I hope they'll take care of everything once I install it. Norton 360 did exactly that, I do not have to worry about changing my settings or dealing with any technical things that I wouldn't understand. A great product that's easy to use!

I found this product to be superior to earlier versions of the "Norton Suites" and would recommend it to friend or foe.
VERY IMPORTANT SUGGESTION:
After installation of Norton 360, you may notice significantly slower operation which can span a rather lengthy period of time. PLEASE allow the P/C to continue running Norton 360 until the package no longer indicates "Items at issue". This message appears on the initial screen when the software is loaded from the desktop icon.
Norton 360 will automatically do the following if you do not power-down or log-off the P/C:
1. Update the software via the internet web site to reflect the most current versions. (Automatically runs LiveUpdate)
2. Delete extraneous files and recover wasted space from tempoary files, internet activity, internet history, etc.
3. Check and optimize the data files that need De-Fragmentation.
4. Clean up your Windows Registry and fix problems left by the addition or removal of other software packages ....
5. Perform many additional household cleaning activities from which you may benefit.
JUST DON'T POWER IT OFF or LOG OFF. You will force Norton to perform recovery and START ALL OVER.
I have honestly found the package has significantly improved the performance of many P/C's if I just leave it alone and exercise some patience.

Now that Macs are able to work in both platforms, we need the security that only Norton 360 can provide. As a long term Norton AntiVirus owner, it was a natural for me to try Norton 360. Great product!
 Misery, Misery, Misery in a Multi User Environment, 2008-04-10
Huge resource hog. Unable to make Norton 360 understand how to operate in a Multi User Environment. On Windows XP or Windows 2000 Professional. And the off-shore help professionals are useless. Avoid this software!!!!

This is the worst Norton product ever!!! They should be ashamed at even releasing it. My computer has been used more be their service techs than by me. Shame on you Norton!!!!
