Good for me, but sometimes very annoying, 2008-03-09 For me everything worked great from day one. I am using it already for more than 6 months. Installation was easy - albite a bit slow, a one time LIVE UPDATE problem was handled very well by Symantec Live Chat, and is working OK already for months.
However, what bothers me is that 360 is very intrusive. It is scanning my 220,000+ files almost daily, which takes close to an hour. Even if I have not connected to the internet or changed anything since yesterdays scan. And when I "CANCEL", it will confirm many times if I REALLY want to cancel. and finally shuts down - and in less than a minute, it starts scanning once again. It seems to completely ignore my requests, and just scans anyway. That's sometimes SOOO annoying. Especially if I run my notebook on battery power and I want the power reserved for more important things than scan all files that were scanned yesterday. Norton needs to make an option only to scan files that is new or has been changed since last scan. And also, when we say STOP SCANNING we really mean it.
Also, I would like to see a lower price for just one PC protection. This is a good way to catch customers for that price, because it is licensed for 3 PC's, but not everyone has 3 PC's. Rather give me a single PC protection for 1/3 the price..
Norton 360, 2008-03-08 I'm very satisfied with Norton 360. It's performing very well. I have not complaints.

Awesome protection, 2008-03-08 Norton 360 All-In-One Security Annual Subscription - 3 PCsInstallation a breeze, no slowdown of my computer, works exactly as promised and works without conflicts, excellent support with free chat and automatic solutions, may be too user friendly for some, but will cover all your bases well. Version 2 comes out this month and they made this product even better. I see alot of Symantec bashing out there, but in reality no other company can make a product that works as promised. 360 is much better than NIS 2008. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs internet security and strong backup that protects you even if you forget about it.

Caveat emptor, 2008-03-04 Do not buy or try unless your are either very very experienced or feel very very lucky. I am an experienced user of Symantec products and advanced PC user. Thus, I believed the warnings posted by prior users were for beginners only. No such luck! After trying for 3 days to install, even after following several recommendations posted on the Symantec site, I gave up and called Tech Support. Then, after struggling for 4+ hours (using the free chat service), a Symantec technician managed to install N360. Tired, I thanked the Support guy and shut down my PC. The next day, I tried to access the Internet without success. Checking again on the Symantec website (in another PC) I found recommendations to fix the issue. But, again, I was not successful since N360 prevented me to apply the solutions. In fact, in all PC accounts including Admin, I could not change any setting on my computer. On top of that, N360 placed several Windows directories (such as "My Documents") that I had put in customized locations in their 'Microsoft default location' without asking me if I agreed with the changes. Only after using my c:\ drive backup -- ALWAYS BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING SYMANTEC PRODUCTS -- I managed to restore control of my PC. So, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for PC security. N360 protects your PC even against yourself!

YOU WILL HATE YOUR SELF IF YOU BUY THIS, 2008-03-02 I have spent the last year fighting this nightmare three times a week I have to shut down my computer because of hundreds of Norton pop ups.I spent $69.00 for tech support in english and 20 hours on the phone for a month and it still was not fixed i just gave up. Then they started sending me pop ups last week that they were going to just renew on my credit card after two hours I think i cracked the code to stop it but I DONT TRUST THEM. So I have now changed my credit card number. It may come down to me buying another computer just to make them go away.
