 Finally a good phone, 2008-10-15
Finally I have a phone, landline portable that is exactly what is advertised. I have bought about 4 different phones over the past year and this one is the one I should have started with. No interference from the microwave, always holds a good charge, no static and I am very happy with it.

 OVERRATED, 2008-10-13
PROBLEMS: YOU COULD NOT SHUT THE RINGER OFF ON INDIVIDUAL HANDSET WITHOUT GOING THRU THE WHOLE MENU.(AND I FOUND THE MENU NOT SO EASY TO NAVIGATE). THE WORST PART WAS IN THE ANSWERING MACHINE. I GET A LOT OF SALES CALLS BECAUSE I HAVE A BUSINESS LINE(HOME BASED)AND THEY TYPICALLY HANG UP AS SOON AS THE MACHINE ANSWERS. THE 1032S WENT ALL THE WAY THRU THE MESSAGE AND 5 SECONDS OF DIAL TONE AND THEN SAID 'THANKS FOR YOUR CALL' BEFORE DISCONNECTING. I CALLED AND TECH SUPPORT HAD ME PUSHING ALL KINDS OF BUTTONS WHICH DID NOT FIX IT. (ALSO, THEIR ANSWERING RIGAMAROLE WAS BAD IN THAT YOU COULDN'T MAKE YOUR CHOICE RIGHT AWAY, YOU HAD TO LISTEN THRU ALL THE CHOICES BEFORE MAKING IT, VERY FRUSTRAING.) THAT WAS BAD FOR ME IN THAT I COULD MISS BUSINESS CALLS. (UNFORTUNATELY, A BUSINESS LINE CAN'T GO ON DO NOT CALL WHICH MAKES NO SENSE SINCE OUR TIME IS EVEN MORE VALUABLE).
I ALREADY HAD AN OLD AT&T ANSWERING MACHINE THAT WORKED WELL SO I TOOK THIS BACK AND GOT THE GE DECT 6 28213 MODEL. WOW, SO MUCH EASIER TO NAVIGATE. HAD A SHORTCUT TO TURN THE RINGER OFF FOR EACH HANDSET AND EVEN HAD FREE GOOGLE 411.

 three weeks and garbage, 2008-10-13
Just three weeks after receiving the Panasonic KX-TG1032S Dect 6.0, the bas is no longer working. "No link to base". Connections are good and the phone unit is next to the base. The second phone unit shows the same message. Don't they check these things in the factory?

Panasonic Dect 6.0 Series Dual Handset Cordless Phone System with Answering System , 2008-10-12
Received this item about 1 month ago. Works great. The sound quality is so much better than our previous phone (then again that one was 5 years old). I have a hearing loss and wear hearing aids. This phone works with my hearing aids to give me good audio from the handset. I can now use this phone to make and receive calls where before I had to use my cell phone. Very pleased.

good phone, 2008-10-12
I have had several other cordless/answering system phones. So far this one is very good by comparison.
Audio, range and features are good and so far battery life is fine. Units need to be recharged about every six days.
It uses standard rechargeable AAA batteries which is much better than some proprietary one.
