    No compren esta basura, 2007-05-31
Esta versión NO puede ser instalada en windows XP en español. Al tratar de instalarlo sale una ventana que dice: Dice: Error 1609. An error occurred while applying security settings. This could be a problem with the package, or a problem connecting to a domain controller on the network. Check your network connection and click Retry... y la única opción es salir de la instalación. El soporte técnico deja mucho que desear, preguntan, preguntan y preguntan y luego no resuelven nada. En conclusión, si usas XP en español, no compre este pedazo de basura.

Can You Say SLOW ??, 2007-05-22
I've been using Trend Micro products on all our computers for 4 years, so naturally I ordered the 3-Pack of the 2007 version when it became available. Big mistake. It's got so many watchdog features that your computer is popping up warning messages everytime you visit a website. My main gripe is that it slows down my Gmail account so much that completing an email without a freeze-up for 45-90 seconds is virtually impossible.

To maintain any kind of processor speed, I'd disabled most of the software's features, maintaining only the most basic virus protection. Strangely, even though I've disabled the webmail protection feature, it still monitors my gmail account, followed by the inevitable freeze-up.

I think Trend Micro has way overcomplicated the process, which is a shame, since I have been a real fan of this software brand for years. I am throwing out the software and the remaining 2007 licenses and buying some 2006 MicroTrend products, since that was a great antivirus product. So was the 2005 version.

    So Far, So Good, 2007-05-18
I bought this because my entire computer crashed in a big way, so I got it all fixed and decided to switch my antivirus from Norton to PC-Cillin because PC-Cillin had gotten such good reviews in the past. I'm glad I did. Everytime I would run a scan with Norton, I would get the dreaded "blue screen" hours later at about 80%; not with PC-Cillin. It was easy to install and easy to scan. It allows you to scan the entire computer much quicker than Norton and it will also let you do a custom scan. So far so good! PC-Cillin is working out much better than Norton ever did.

Just When I Thought I Had Found a Perfect Virus Protection, 2007-05-12
I bought one for my mother too-She runs Windows ME- It will not install on ME and TrendMicro does not support it. I had to purchase a download from TrendMicro and we all know how that goes--Anyway the one I bought for myself-Windows XP, installed easily but when you try to manually scan, there is a problem--- I have had PC Cillin for 4 years and alas I feel that this will be my last year-- Too bad to, I really enjoyed the ease and simplicity of prior years

    AVOID, 2007-04-26
Installation of Trend Micro's AV 2007 slowed my computer to a crawl.

Immediately before and after installation I did a Hijack This scan and discovered after installation that I had four identical Winsock O10 entries (C:\windows\system32\tmlsp.dll).

The only way that I could eliminate these entries was to uninstall TM AV 2007 and do a system restore. Re-installing the TM AV 2007 software caused them to come back.

I then installed a different AV program and the operation of my computer is back to normal and the four Hijack This O10 Winsock entries are gone.
