Works great, stable mount, 2008-11-13
I got this to mount my Garmin StreetPilot c550 GPS on my car dashboard and it works great!

This product rocks! After having the suction cup melt to the windshield I hesitate in buying a new one. This is a little bulkier but it does not move even when taking tight turns. I would recommend this product for anyone who has space on the dashboard.
Dashboard Mount, 2008-11-12
This dashboard mount seems to work just like it was advertised. I haven't tried cornering at 90 mph, but sure stays put an normal speeds. I really like how the plug to the cigarette lighter plugs into the mount and not to the GPS. This allows me to remove the GPS quickly and not have to deal with the plug.

...and want to use it with your Nuvi, try contacting Garmin and explaining situation. They may send you the adapter you need to use you old base for free. They did for me.
I have a 2720, which uses the same base supplied with the gps. Works GREAT!

We purchased this item as we have several vehicles and wanted the GPS to be used interchangeably. It worked great on our trip!
