No software installation needed to run this nice little laser presenter/pointer. Just plug-and-play, it's fast, sensitive, and precise. Works for Powerpoint slides, Word documents, PDF files, and web pages. Great product for the price as well.

The first time I used it during a presentation the laser died, and the slides either advanced five at a time or not at all. A disaster.

Laser beam is brighter than a Targus one I have. The buttons are responsive . Happy with the product.

It installed easily, the pointer is nice and clear and doesn't weigh a lot. We all liked this one the better than other presentation remotes that we have tested in the school.

 Great Page Up/Down Function but Weak Laser, 2008-04-04
This product has a huge range for going up/down between slides on PowerPoint. It also works with a pdf file or MS Word document. I could even change slides from another room! It has a very comfortable design and comes in a great carrying case. I was disappointed, though, that the laser wears out after about a minute of use. Hopefully, I can exchange it for one that works better, or I'll have to use my old laser pointer in one hand and this product in the other for my presentations.
