 I'm happy with it, 2008-03-24
I decided to purchase this modem to replace the one I was renting from Comcast. It works as well or better and it should pay for itself in a year or so. Shipping was fast and set up took about a half hour mostly with Comcast resetting the codes.

Works good!, 2008-03-18
Decided to finally bite the bullet and purchase a modem instead of leasing the one thru my cable company. This has worked like a charm, no problems or issue and I've had it for about a year.
Motorola SB5101 Cable Modem, 2008-03-11
Motorola's SB5101 cable modem provides no-brainer hookup and activation with easy-to-follow instructions and great performance. Plug in a few cords, call your cable provider to get the modem 'recognized,' and you're ready to surf. So easy a fifth grader could do it!
Disappointed, 2008-03-10
Product is good, too way too long (3 weeks) just to ship from amazon. I find it hard to believe that it took that long just to find the product on the shelf. really disappointed in the time it took amazon to ship the product. I was willing to wait the 4-5 days for shipping, not the 3 weeks it took to ship the product. In that time I could have driven to California, picked it up, and drove it back to the east coast.

All I can say is that it performs as well as the unit I was renting from /comcast.
