 Surfboard SB5101, 2008-07-22
Changed my old Motorola surfboard modem which lasted 7 years with the SB5101, set-up was easy, speeds are great, worth the money.
SB5101 Cable Modem, 2008-07-21
The set up was very easy to do & it works very well. The only problem that I have come across is that I have not been able to set up my NETGEAR router to it. When I installed the router to the modem to use my notebook wireless the connection would fail & then work & fail again. Other than that this modem works very well.

Motorola cable modem is a good buy., 2008-07-18
Setting this up was a breeze. With our old cable modem we lost connection with comcast many times per day and connection speeds were not that great, but this has worked great and so far we have only lost connection a couple times during a 12 hour period (in the past month) and I later found out that comacast was having problems, so not the modems fault. Speeds are good on this too!!
Don't rent from your cable company!, 2008-07-17
I updated my older Motorola Surfboard that I was renting from the cable company with this one. Before the update I was getting 5Mbps down and 768Kbps upload. I am now getting 15Mbps+ download and 1.5Mbps+ upload!
Do not rent from your cable company! Spend the money and buy this modem!
Good value for money, 2008-07-17
Very good product. Works great. It has made internet surfing faster. I had rental model from cable company since last 2 years. That was a mistake.
