Naturally Speaking, 2008-06-09 Basically the same as MS's version, but is easier to train. Still sounds like a machine, and doesn't answer back.

Excellent product, 2008-06-04 As is typical for Amazon the product came quickly and the Dragon software has been very impressive. Very happy that I purchased it.

Not recommended at all. Junk!, 2008-05-31 I write a lot of things on my computer. Thought I would improve my speed with this software. It is actually slowing me down. I received it in December, and have been using it almost daily to dictate. I am so unhappy with it, I just cut my losses. These folks will never give me my money back. After 5 months, it is still continuously misspelling a huge amount of words, and the punctuation is pathetic. I spend more time correcting words, upper and lower case, and punctuation. It is completely useless for me. I just recently dictated an e-mail to a friend, without making any corrections, and when I was finished, it made absolutely no sense. What good is a program, where I have to spend more time making corrections, that the original composition took. And this is not because I am not able to follow directions. I speak very clearly and concisely, and after the 5 months, it is still not able to serve me right. I feel ripped off by this software, and would not recommend it to an analphabet.
Worst possible customer service, 2008-05-28 This product came bundled with a digital voice recorder. Sounded like a great idea...except that the philips voicetracker 7655 NEVER worked correctly from the moment it came out of the box. Nuance never stood behind the product and shuffled me off to deal with philips (no luck there either). I thought that maybe at least the software would work (what was I thinking!?). The program requires an extensive amount of computer resources and "training". The software was never able to remotely deliver on the promise of true voice recognition. I would stay away from this product and this company.

Dragon is just fine, 2008-05-27 Works well, take time to go through the tutorial if first time user. Wish it had better instructions on translating digitized voice from tape recorders. Has most of the features needed without going to the very pricey Professional version
