    Prefer PC version, 2008-08-09
So far I hate Quicken for MAc. After years being a devoted Quicken user on my PC I bought an iMac and switched to This. I can't get any accounts to download to my register like I did with the PC version. Should have stayed with the PC.

Not great but it does the job, 2008-07-31
Moving from a windows version to this version it takes some getting used to, but I now enjoy it. It is not as robust as the windows version but it gets the job done. The only frustration I had was I thought I could migrate my files over, but learned this is not an easy accomplishment. I decided not to which means I need to keep my old computer for historical records.

    Works Well, 2008-07-28
I had a hard time downloading from windows to mac because the directions were wrong for my old windows software so I had to start over. I do like it though.

    From Windows to Mac, 2008-07-24
Converting from Windows to Mac was not very efficient or complete. The Mac version is not as intuitive as the Windows version. Should have waited for the 2008 version due out soon.

    Miserable, 2008-07-23
Quicken 2007, along with all Quickens for Mac, is another example of why monopolies are bad. There's no competition for personal finance software on Macs. As a result, the functionality of Quicken 2007 lags that of the Windows version where Quicken has to compete with Microsoft Money and other programs.

For example, I have an asset management account, which I have to qualify as a brokerage account. I have many regular payments coming in and out of that account. But because it's a brokerage account, Quicken won't let me use the Schedule Transactions feature. With the increasing popularity of asset management accounts, there is no reason for not enabling this feature.

Also, when downloading transactions, I do the One Step Update. Only that's a misnomer, as once it downloads the transactions for all of my accounts I need to do go a Download Transactions screen to review them. It's a pain.
