Oh Wow, 2008-07-22 I just got this movie yesterday and have seen it 3x since then. Great movie. Dolly Parton is perfect for the character Ruby Diamond-It's Dolly with a different name! And on top of being the star of this movie, she also treats us to a few songs! I'd definitely reccomend this movie.
An Unlikely Angel, 2008-03-25 This movie is adorable! Dolly Parton really is an angel in this too cute film. Dolly plays a singer who gets killed and St. Peter sends her back to earth to do some good for mankind. She is assigned to get a family back together and with some wit and unusal tactics - she does just that and in the process falls in love with the family. Good family show! I didn't know Dolly Parton could act. A real fun movie to watch and enjoy with everyone.
Love It!, 2008-03-05 Yes, this movie is a little corny but it has a wonderful plot and beautiful holiday scenery! I watched it for the first time on Hallmark about six years ago and was thrilled to find it on again the next Christmas. It's not a favorite and it's not all that great, but it is now a tradition to have on in the background while I cook, wrap or decorate. It's just not Christmas without seeing this movie at least once. I'm ordering the DVD to add to my Christmas collection.

Unlikely Angel, 2007-12-09 This is now my favorite Christmas movie. It is simple yet thought provoking. The song towards the end is beautiful. It certainly sets the mood for my Christmas season.

Some singers need, 2007-11-23 to stick with singing. I like Dolly but her acting in this movie was just pitiful! The movie itself is chopped to pieces and hard to follow along. The script is probably a good one but the final film is awful.
It is clean and if you can sit through all the awful acting, it can be considered a family movie.
