iWorks 08, 2007-12-10
I'm a new MAC user. Got iWorks 08 because of features and price. I like the capability of importing MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint docs. Basically, iWorks is slightly more feature and functionality capable than MS Works. Not nearly as powerful as MS Office. I have Office on my Windows PC at work and home, so I didn't need it on the MacBook. I would have liked iWorks to provide a reasonable clipart library. This is the main feature for me that is missing. If you do a lot of desktop publishing and need power functionality of Excel and Word, stick with Office. If you need a general wordprocessor, spreadsheet and presentation package that is easy to learn and use, iWorks 08 might be for you. As usual, Amazon delivery and fulfillment was great!

 Why use Office, 2007-11-22
I was not a power user of Office. I did a newsletter or two and a few other things for some clubs and the like. I was contemplating buying the new Office when it came out. Instead I bought I Work and now I can't justify spending the money. It will do all that an average user will need and then some. the only complaint I have is it won't do postal barcodes on the envelopes like Office.

Opened box, and had designed a 5x7 ' for sale flyer, imported photo media and printed within 25 minuted, great templates, like online help very much. Scotty in Seoul

This product is practical and very good, but I wish that it was possible to use a tool to type and print envelopes.

No wonder why university students, once they give them there macbook's or macbook pros. they take the features such as iWork, its simple because it makes there life way easier. iWorks its really simple to use, even a noobie can use it!!
