    Let Down By Lego, 2005-04-22
In a nutshell we have a 2001 computer which does not meet the required video card requirements (as well as 2003 Laptop, the same lack of requirements). After spending time with Dell, on-line and finally at the EIDOs Chat Rooms, it is apparent that this is not an isolated problem. In fact may people in the EIDOs chat room were much harsher in their criticisms of EIDOS, Star Wars and Lego.

In short the game did not run at all. In order to so, we would need to buy a new computer or invest in a new card which might or might not run the program properly.

A game being produced for the mass market, and age group, by a brand name such as Lego, should be making a bigger issue of the need for state of the art hardware. Our nine year old selected this after doing on-line research (all glowing, see the rest of the Amazon reviews) as well as the school yard buzz.

We are now stuck with a $30 opened package (not returnable to Amazon or anyone else) and no way to play. Well at least it is an attractive box and will look good on the shelf.

    Great but flawed, 2005-04-18
A great idea, and a good single-player romp if you're into breaking things.
Forget playing through this in co-op. It's fun for a couple of levels and then you get to the pod racing. I played this on single player and found it frustrating but possible. However with someone else attached to you seemingly on a rubberband, constantly pulling you off course it becomes a complete nightmare. Just for the record I've completed all 3 GTAs since 3, Ninja Gaiden, and the first Halo on Legendary, so I'm not one to give up easily. Co-op pod racing will rob you of your enthusiasm for life.

    Simply Awesome, 2005-04-12
Alright. I'm 30 years old, have two kids, bought this game recently for my computer so I could play with my youngest son, and have something that wasn't ultra violent and could have a good time with.

Well, this game rocks. I think it has been underrated on a few game sites thus far (even though it still got high ratings), but generally the reviews are very good for this game. And i think the developers did a great job with the depth of the game (considering it is a "kids" game), and making a Star Wars game simply fun again. My wife and I play it almost every night, just having fun being jedi and unlocking the secrets in the game. Yes. . .my wife and I play it. This game does appeal to the adults and the kids, so that is the mark of a well developed game.

The graphics, and gameplay make it addicting. I have hardly any gripes about it. I only wish they would have released it for the GameCube. I would suggest also, getting a gamepad, or controller of some kind. I havn't shared the other problems people are having (simlpy not working, or not having the right "specs"), though from what I've read, everything they've mentioned is "on the box". So, I dont think it's fair to curse the game for it. This game is good, top of the line, so older computers will not run it as well.

It has great replay value, its crisp, lots of fun characters (you can be over 30, so its just nuts) and its just addicting. Try the demo if your not sure. But this is one of the best star wars games I've played in a long time. Just fun.

    Excellent game, 2005-04-12
I'm usually not a big fan of video games, but this one is so much fun. The levels are challenging, but the controls are simple, which is a plus. The lego graphics look great too. I like that you can replay levels to unlock more of their secrets. Each movie (Episodes 1-3) has six levels representing various action scenes from the movies. Most of the action involves slicing with lightsabers or shooting with pistols. Jedi also can use the force, and each character has a special ability. Of course, you can't take the game too seriously (Queen Amidala earns points for destroying the many windows and flowerbeds around her own palace--perhaps it was time to redecorate?). Fast-moving and addictive.

Great game ignore the techno dolts, 2005-04-11
The poor reviews are from people who couldn't get the game to run. NEWS FLASH: If your machine doesn't meet the requirements it won't run! Just because the old hand me down machine that your kid has in his room won't run it doesn't mean its a bad game. The average childrens game will run on an old computer. This is not your average game. I think the game is great and it runs on my machine fine....I built my computer less than 6 months ago.

Ignore the other reviewers, buy the game. If you don't believe me check out some gaming sites to see what their reviews were (they're very good BTW).
