Not as easy as it sounds..., 2008-10-24 I had a bit of difficulty getting this card to work for me, though I have come to the conclusion that the problem lay in either my computer or my OS. I have a Compaq Presario V2000 running Windows XP. I loaded the disc and inserted the card per the directions, but every time I tried to use it, my computer locked up. A hard lock. Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't even work, I'd have to turn it off. After days of searching the internet for a solution, I finally found a site that lead me to a fix. I seems that my computer had loaded the incorrect driver. I had to go in manually and select the right one. After that, it worked like a charm. It works well with my flash drives and my webcam. The only thing I can't get it to run is my USB powered WD Passport 320GB external drive, but I haven't tried using it with the card's included power cord plugged in.

A Lifesaver!, 2008-09-16 My wife's laptop only had two USB ports to start with and they both became damaged over time. After going without a mouse for a few months, we picked up this 4 port pc-card and it has been a godsend. Now we have all of the ports we will ever need and I didn't have to drop a bunch of money to get the original USBs fixed. Great product at a great price!
USB 2.0, 2008-09-10 works great, my computer didnt have the 2.0 but the 1.0 so being able to transfer data at a respectable rate is really good!

Top Notch, 2008-05-04 Works great so far. Using about a month and mostly running a wireless mouse with no need for the extra power adapter.
