 Great if you want to train Pitch Accuracy!, 2006-09-01
I am an above average singer and want to take the next step to becoming a professional and found that my pitch accuracy needed some help. Problem is that I can't always hear when I'm off pitch and have to depend on my husband to tell me - which is a pain when you're a singer. I got this program for that purpose which is to train this very important part of singing. I would definitely recommend this program if you are a beginning singer - it will help with understanding the basics and pitch accuracy. If you are an intermediate singer or expert singer this can still help you - not in improving your vocal flexibility, range or tone (I recommend Brett Manning's Singing Success CD set for that), but if you want to improve pitch accuracy. I must say in the week that I've had this, I think I've improved. Yes it is a cheesy program - with lots of cheesy animated characters but it is easy to skip this stuff if it annoys you as it does me. I just wish that we could have more interesting songs on the program - the songs that already come with the program are songs like Amazing Grace and Danny Boy - which are good but get a little boring. This gives you 12 free downloads of better songs (i.e. pop etc.) but I do wish it was 20 or something like that. Would be nice if Carry a Tune had a bigger selection of songs - like I couldn't find a single Jewel song! That's my only real gripe. I'm pretty happy with it overall...

 Misleading, 2006-07-20
I was expecting much more than what I got. There are 25 songs but they're all juvenile songs. You can download some but I guess I just expected more help with pitch than what this provides. For the money, it's not worth it.

 Awesome software, 2006-04-05
I picked this product up recently and I have to say it is even better than advertised. It gies you everything it says it does and more and works great. The fact that I can see my voice on the screen is amazing and in real time no less.

I'm returning the item..., 2006-03-16
When I got the Singing Coach Unlimited, I was very excited. It was a birthday gift from my mom. When I was installing it, I knew things were not going to turn out well. I had to try to install it about 5 times before it finally worked. When it finally did install, it just didn't work even though my computer met all the system requirements. The audio in the program would stop after a few words. I didn't even get to use the program. I was very disappointed. But putting all that aside, I would like to say that Amazon.com makes returning items easy as can be!

 save your money, 2006-02-27
I'm a second soprano but no matter how I adjust my range, it says I'm a tenor. Consequently, it is of no use to me, since I can never
successfully use it. perhaps its a lemon & its a good program. I don't reccommend it. I'm an exerienced singer.
