I purchased this so that I could connect my DV camcorder to the computer for editing. It was simple to install, and I was importing video into Windows Movie Maker in about 10 minutes. Included cable made this a bargain.

This was a piece of cake to install in a Dell Dimension and enabled me to download and edit video.

I installed the TRENDnet card in my Dell and it found it with no problems. I connected my Canon DV camcorder and created a short video.
The supplied cable came in handly. It would have been nice to have an internal connection to connect the camera to the front of the Dell.

Their site lists this item as being Vista compatible! although the packaging lists 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, and Mac 8.6+...plug & play...includes 6'(6pin to 4 pin)cable. Also required is an available PCI 2.2 slot. 2 year warranty. Great product, useful for my external HDD (faster than USB 2.0). Highly recommended to those whos PC doesnt already have Firewire.
