Works as advertised, 2007-03-12 I installed this a few days ago (with all of the appropriate updates from the Microsoft web site) on my mac G5 (non-intel) with 1.25 Gb running OSX 10.4.8. I am not a Windoze fan and much prefer the superior mac OS, but there are a few flight planning and aviation GPS simulator programs that only work in Windoze. I was leery because of all of the bad reviews, but I have had no trouble so far. The installation was smooth and only took about 30-45 minutes. The program so far has worked as advertised and for the programs I use is as fast as it needs to be. Virtual PC is, after all, a simulator and is not going to run programs that require blazing speed, but the information about the program warns of that. Now I can take advantage of those few programs that I need that only run in Win.
Worst piece of software I have ever bought., 2007-03-08 The program works, but You Might as well be on windows 3.1.
It is too slow to be of any productive use. It is a total hype, totally useless for business or any application.
Could be much better, 2007-02-13 extremely slow to boot and run, only run it when I absolutely have to run a program that requires windows.
Virtual PC?, 2007-02-06 Personally, I prefer the Mac platform. The Virtual PC on my G3 is slow to open up and even slower for internet exploring, should I need to do so. Perhaps if I had a different processor and faster sidebus, it would be a different story. I purchased it, yes, but I am not so sure that I would again, at least not since I also have Office for Mac installed.
