Works fine, 2007-01-19
It works as well if not better than the one I have beeen renting form the cable. I was paying $7 rental. Therefore pay back will be in 8 months.

 Very wrong cable modem, 2007-01-11
It workED fine first month then it get slower and slower , sometimes I could only get 20 Kbp/s, turn it off and back on again, performance get much better for couple hours and then it slow down again. Faulty product! Downloading from the same website, my sister got 900Kbp/s , I got max 200 Kbp/s(after turn off and back on). Disapointed !!!

 Working good... little slower thou, 2007-01-11
Replaced an old Toshiba that was failing (lost connecting every 45 minutes or so). Working good so far. Speed not quite as fast as the Toshiba was based on speed test sites. I've done multiple tests because I know these tests can vary and the DLink is still 5 to 10% slower than the Toshiba was.

Ok, 2007-01-11
Was not new to using this device. I bought it as a replacement for another that failed after 2.5 years on 24/7.
SMALL, ETHERNET & USB PORTS., 2007-01-10
Although I did not noticed any performance boost over my older Best Data modem, the D-link is smaller and does offer a USB port. Something my older modem lacked. The only drawback is the lack of power button like some other cable modems in the market. But this is minor. Over all, a very nice cable modem.
