Only brand that works for me..., 2007-06-20
After spending too much money on blank media that is supposed to be tested and approved for my DVD recorder, which is a Toshiba D-R4SU, I found that JVC is the ONLY brand that works. The picture and sound quality is great and recording on these blank disks is usually flawless. I highly recommend.

JVC DVD-RW may be the best brand., 2007-01-04
My new Toshiba DVD recorder (model # D-R4SU )had difficulty recording on DVD-RW on Fuji brand. The Toshiba people I called said that most brands had many defective DVD-RW discs in a typical package. They highly recommended JVC. Their discs are great---no problems at all. I'm sticking with JVC, even though I have to order them from So. Calif. online.
