    Fabulous Movie!, 2008-10-08
This is a wonderful movie. It's very different from the other Satanic movies that I've seen. I watched this when I was a kid and when I saw the DVD I was estatic! Great premise -- loved Roger Daultry (sp?) of The Who! Spooky, fun, different, keeps you guessing ... great movie to watch! The ending is the BEST! I wonder what I would do ...

    A Major Plus, 2008-03-05
Briefly, there's something else about this movie, that if you're a Sam Elliott fan, you'll want to have. His shower scene alone is worth the price of the DVD. When this is shown on television, the pan-and-scan cuts all the nudity out.

Some people would sell their soul to the DEVIL to get what they want, wouldn't they Kathrine Ross!, 2007-07-07
Real life husband and wife Sam Elliott and Kathrine Ross team up in this silly little romp around the devil's playground. Not to be confused with other devil cult films such as Polanski's Rosemary's Baby, the film never takes itself too seriously under the direction of Richard Marquand (who you may remember directing a film that made a bit more money called Return of the Jedi. The couple find themselves detained in an old English castle with a variety of well to do guests including Roger Daltry from The Who rock band. One by one the guests die horribly as they wait to see who will inherit the power of their mysterious benefactor. Extremely dated with a montage during the title song, the film is nevertheless a fun ride and is sure to bring a chuckle or two. They just don't make em like this anymore kids!

    Excellent chiller, 2007-06-21
I don't understand the poor reviews of this great chiller from the 70's.

This is one of the premier macabre/occult movies to come out of this era.

Lots of original plots and ideas not found in any other movies. Who could

have expected the swimming pool death or the thing in the room on life

support? This movie lacks nothing. It is well written with great

actors. This is back in the days when the story and the music and your

own imagination were at their maximum use and the carefully aimed special

effects were so much more believable as a result.

Unless you've been desensitized by too many of the newer slash &

blood/underlying porn movies for the prozac nation with the 5 minute

attention span you will really like this movie.

Not really a horror movie, just a chiller, 2007-04-13
And yet one more movie from my childhood has found it's way into my collection. To be fair I knew this one wasn't a great movie even then, but it did have the "creepy" factor that works well even today. A few deaths and a lot of "strange things" happen and that's it. But the thought that at any moment something might happen keeps you guessing.
After a very strange wreck Ms. Ross and Mr. Elliott(A real life couple) are taken to a Estate run by some very strange people. The owner is about to die and they along with the other visitors are in line for the title prize.
The rest is for you to find out on your own. This is a slow moving movie and it has very little if any gore. This is one that sets out to make you feel creepy and to that end I felt it did the job nicely.
