not nearly as good as the first, 2004-07-11 the first syberia i really enjoyed, a few boring parts but in general, very nice. syberia 2 on the other hand is less than what i had expected. the main issue i have with this game is dialogue. lets face it, its terrible. for example, you talk to a girl in which she says her name is anna voralberg. when you talk to her next, your character says: "are you anna voralberg?" its things like this that bastardize a game. unfortunately, its like this throughout the entire thing. at one point your character is yelling and insulting a priest and right after that, youre calm and wishing him a good day. its poor planning in the dialogue department. oh, and another thing... the puzzles are weak. they seem like theyre going to be a chalenge, and its not... and other times your wondering "why the hell did i pick this up?".

the story continues, 2004-06-22 My review of Syberia was written and then I began Syberia II. A wonderful visual adventure with magnificent graphics, a compelling story and perfect ending. This is an adventure worth taking. It is minimally improved from the original and a good way to dissolve yourself into a fantasy of time and wonder. Mr. Sokol deserves every accolade. I'm ready for III !!!

The answer to the URU Downer, 2004-06-13 Found URU to be very disappointing and returned it. Then my children found Syberia. This is a magnificent piece of work. The graphics are exquisite and the music appropriate. The ease of use is apparent. The story line is interesting and original. I heartily reccommend this to all Myst players. This is the quality of work we expect. Thank you Mr. Sokol. Syberia II is up and running. Just sent XBox version as a gift!
let down, 2004-06-12 I thought that Syberia I was one of the best adventure games ever produced. Syberia II continues the story line and has superb graphics just like the first one. I believe more work should've been put into creating relevant, logical puzzles for the game. There were too many puzzles that required exhausting random permutations (rather than logic) to reach the solution, e.g., the fishing puzzle had 27 combinations, the 'heart' puzzle had 121 both with no apparent logic to the final solution.I'm not disappointed that I bought the game; but I was expecting a better, fully thought out experince like in Syberia I.

Slightly less entertaining, 2004-06-11 Although the game (From my perspective) is a little less (Very little) entertaining then Syberia, one will not be disappointed with the game. Once again, Microids has come through with excellent graphics a good story with some new characters and some interesting puzzles. I would rate the game A-. So go out there and get your self the game and enjoy!
