    Xbox 360 Controller

Bet you did not know that the xbox 360 controller w/usb connector works on the p.c. Also, most games are configured with the controller being the default game pad for p.c. Save time and money. Easy driver updates for vista from microsoft. Save a couple of bucks and calories- just do yourself a favor. Also the wireless controller works really well.

    Good Gamepad, 2008-07-09
The Dual Action Game Pad is a good gamepad since it allows you to plug-and-play. It does not require any software with Windows XP. I was able to play NBA Live 07 and NBA Live 08 fine with it. I recommend this gamepad.

    Wouldn't suggest it, 2008-06-23
It is a very nice controller while it works, the profiler is amazing and easy to use, but the analog sticks are made of a cheap plastic. As many others have experienced, the plastic that rubs off gathers around the base and prevents the sticks from easy movement. They will get stuck and be hard to move. Other than that, the buttons work perfectly fine. Also the cord can be rather stubborn, if it twists accidentally, you will never be able to completely straighten it, it always has a little knot in it. Try a higher quality controller, I mean come on, whats the most you are going to pay? $25?

Excellent PS Lookalike For PC, 2008-06-10
I have had this controller for... I don't even know how long anymore. It has performed wonerfully in anything I've tried it, nearly always with the default settings. I don't even use the custom Logitech software because it performs so well without it. It is getting close to needing to be replaced, and I'm looking at the wireless version with considerable interest. Easy to take apart for routine cleaning (and after all I've put the analog sticks through, a little maintenance can be expected)
Only possible downside is that the controller is slightly too small for my marginally large hands. Obviously these things won't be perfect for everyone, but the size is only hardly an issue. Definitely another quality product from Logitech

both good & bad (mostly just blah), 2008-06-06
I purchased this to replace my mouse controller; I'll explain. I've tried various mouse controllers, trackballs, light pens, gel wrist pads and swivel arm rests, but none have ever felt as comfortable to use as a standard controller for a videogame console. Since I'm most comfortable with the PlayStation 3 controller, I chose to try this product on my notebook (also works with the average pc).

To set this up as a mouse replacement, go to the Tutorial, then the FAQs, then the topic "What is a persistent profile?", and from there you can also figure out how to customize the buttons however you'd like. The only catch is you have to have to activate the Logitech Profiler every time you turn on your computer, otherwise your gamepad won't register.

For the most part, this product is just okay and serves its purpose, but I will say that the joysticks can be frustrating in that sometimes the cursor will start drifting for no reason. Sometimes it will get so bad, I have to move both sticks rapidly until it stops. It's a minor inconvenience, but this suggests Logitech needs to work on making a better model. I mentioned this to them when rating the gamepad on their site, but I've had no response. I should also mention the directional-pad is one of the worst I've experienced, and the holes for the stick movement are square-shaped instead of round, and that's just plain idiotic.

The bottomline is it makes for a comfortable mouse controller, but I wouldn't rely on it for playing actual videogames.
