Great Device, 2004-01-09 It's handy. It's sturdy. It's cool. What more can be said? This is my first handheld, and, after years of denying my deep seated need, certain to be the first of many Palms if they remain true to this design philosophy. Coupled with the Scuba case it's about as useful a gadget as I can imagine (the open Scuba case door gives a handle of sorts for right handers like me). The only minor negative I can come up with (they say i gotta have one...) is the lack of a back button but this is really inconsequential compared to the thing's overall performance.

Terrible Disappointment, 2003-12-08 I have used Palm OS devices for about four years. I recently purchased the TT2. I was excited about the product because it had everything that I wanted from a handheld. However, after using it for a day or so, the Voice Memo application started to malfunction. Sometimes it would not record anything no matter what I did. Other times it would record, but when I left Voice Memo then returned to it, the recordings would disappear. Palm Support told me to return the unit, which I did, and exchange it for a new one. Within one hour of using my second TT2 it started to do exactly the same thing! I'm returning it to Palm and I'll be purchasing a handheld by a different company on Monday. I'd be interested to hear whether or not others have experienced problems with the Voice Memo application. Also, I'd like to echo the sentiments of another reviewer: The telephone support for Palm is absolutely HORRIBLE. They route their tech support calls to India, as you may know. As a native American, it was almost impossible for me to communicate with any of the tech representatives. They didn't understand me and I didn't understand them. Also, they don't seem to actually know anything about the technical aspects of the Palm products. As far as I could tell they were just surfing the PalmOne website and reading Knowledge Library entries to me. Dealing with them was one of the worst experiences I've had in months. Literally.

Worst Palm Handheld, 2003-11-12 I am very experienced with technology and particularly Palm products (the Tungsten T is my third Palm handheld). The Tungsten T has a delicate cradle - I've replaced three cradles in nine months. Also, I have replaced two of the handhelds for reasons that were not explained to me. Technical support is nice, but I have yet to have a discussion with technical support that lasted less than 30 minutes!!!! This product has done the opposite of save me time. I am looking into purchasing another brand.

Palm Support is Non-existent, 2003-11-02 I own the Tungsten T2 and it's a nifty piece of hardware with a beautiful display and innovative features. However, mine arrived without the software CD. After two long distance calls to support including total hold times of nearly 50 minutes, I was told I could not obtain the missing software that there were no CDs to ship and nothing they could email me. This means basic Palm apps like the calculator and photo viewer are not present on my device. The representative suggested I return the device (at the expense of the retailer?) and either purchase another one or keep my Dell Axim. Free support for Palm devices only lasts 90 days (after that $25 a call) and they were not willing to help me, unlike Dell which has provided support and replacement without question or cost. The Palm hardware is nice, but the software is nonexistant and the support is laughable. Weigh these factors in making your PDA decision.

Great Device!, 2003-10-20 My last PDA finally bit the dust (Sharp Wizard OZ-770) and I was really looking for a good PDA with all of the features of my previous one. Some things I like are:The Tungsten T2 was more than I bargained for! Griffiti2 is much more intuitive than Graffiti. Address Book easy to access. Notepad as well as Memo Pad for natural writing. Rugged build Speaker and headphone jack. Lots of other stuff. I cannot say enough good things about the TungstenT2 and would recommend it for anybody!
