 Logitech 3D Pro Joystick, 2008-02-29
Excellent product. Solid construction. Better than expected in this price range. All I had to do was plug it in and it was ready to go, no calibration need. Only thing I would like to see is a little less pressure need to move the joystick, maybe this will change as the product is broken in.

After expending almost one hundred dollars on a Saitek X45 and having to throw it in the garbage, this Logitech joystick was a great relief.

 Worked great for a while, 2008-02-25
This was, I repeat was, the best controller I had used. Sadly it lacks durablility. First it developed a downward drift. Then it had interfacing problems that required me to disconnect and reconect it numerous times while starting and exiting the game I was trying to play so that the throttle would work properly, it wouldn't go in reverse. Lastly, which made the controller unplayable, the downward drift exceeds the upward pull, so you can pull it all the way back and still be looking at your boots. Overall I liked the controller but it just doesn't stand up to long usage, not abusage.

No other Joystick has impreseed me more than this model. Comparatively speaking, i find it more effective than the yoke. It has certainly outclassed the other joysticks in its category. A great price too. With the quality output you get for this price, Amazon stocks will be depleted soon.

works great with flight simulator X, 2008-02-22
currently used for Flight Simulator with Windows Vista - installed itself by plugging into a USB port, and enabled all of the key control buttons to the Flight Simulator defaults. Twist function to control rudder very handy. No experience with aggressive maneuvers (e.g., dogfights, games). Inexpensive, and no complaints.
