No way to calibrate, low life expectancy., 2008-10-08
Don't waste your money on this one:
    -No way to calibrate.
    -Very unstable.
-Will only for a few months (if you are lucky enough), then it won't center anymore, so you will have to end flying compensating the pull, thus, giving you an unfair handicap.

Put in a few more $$ and buy yourself a Saitek.

This is my second Joystick. It is as good as the last one I wore out, which was also the same joystick.

    Awesome!, 2008-09-30
It works great on my macbook pro. I didn't have to install anything. I plugged it into my USB port and then the game i was playing even had presets for this joystick.

    Nice Joystick, 2008-09-30
For the money, this is a GREAT JOYSTICK !!! Handles well and the flight sim software really likes it.

Very responsive, to bad no force feedback but a excellent buy.

Does everything it should and does it well, 2008-09-18
Purchased this joystick as my first over two years ago. It's endured countless hours of hard use and still functions smoothly and perfectly. The stick itself is very comfortable, and buttons arranged logically.

I use it with FS Century of Flight and have assigned the four buttons on top to aileron trim up and down and flaps up and down, the trigger in front for brakes, and the thumb button for landing gear. It all works like a charm.

One drawback, and it's unavoidable, is that it's a bit awkward to have one hand on the throttle lever and the other on the joystick. If possible, I'd have a separate throttle unit. (though I have no room for it on my desk.)

The hatswitch button at the top of the joystick could be better, as it's pretty touchy and takes some getting used to. It's difficult to hold it at a position other than forward, back, left, or right. In other words, to hold it to give a lateral view, it wants to jump back and forth between views, which is disorienting. You really have to hold it precisely, which takes some practice.

All and all a very rugged and well designed joystick for a very reasonable price.
