 Fabulous Editing Software, 2004-06-20
Wow! I guess I am lucky - no problem installing or using. I use Windows XP and have had to reinstall after a crash with no prob. I use this software to edit songs for my (personal hobby) internet radio station - it is excellent for that! I have also used the software to ID3 tag MP3's that didn't show up correctly on CDDB, and I love the crossfade function for my mixes. I am not an expert on anything technical, and this software has been pretty user friendly for me. I plan to upgrade to version 5 when it comes out.

Update to the Above, 2003-05-27
I finally got some help. Not from Steinberg but from Pinnacle systems. We had to edit a couple of registry entries before the software would work. Now I have to say I am pleased with the product. I was using MusicMatch and I've left it alone to use myMP3 Pro.

 check the steinberg site before you buy this one, 2003-05-17
The first problem I experienced with this software was it could not see my cd drive. I went to the Steinberg site (the company who supports this software) and found that there are quite a few problems with this software. I also searched their site for technical support and could not find any. Maybe it is there, but it was hard to find. I wanted to return the software but I bought it here (Amazon)....
