    tiny little modem rocks, 2008-04-12
I had my doubts about it. Its a revolution in computer modems for sure. Installation is simple. I have it running on XP and Vista, works like a charm. Its mostly for faxes, but it is so mobil, you can put it in your pocket or a pouch and take it anywhere you want to go, very nice with my laptop.

    Didn't do what I needed., 2008-02-25
I wanted to use this modem with software to record my phone calls. The modem in my PC is 'digital' so I needed a 'voice' modem. The phone recording software did not recognize this as a 'voice modem' as advertised.

    Great Product!, 2008-02-11
I purchased this item several weeks ago because my internal modem went out on my laptop. I attempted to use a card bus type modem but this didn't last very long and was very unreliable. So far this has been a great modem option. I was pleasantly suprised to find that it actually increased my surfing speed. Being from the "country" and not having DSL options, I am restricted to dial up. This modem has reduced the pain a little and makes surfing not so much of a chore. I highly recommend!

No installed moden? Get this, 2008-01-28
I didn't have a modem installed in my new computer because I have cable broadband service. Then I found I needed to send some faxes which requires using the phone line and a modem. The Trendnet USB modem solved the problem for me. It is inexpensive and works great. I recommend this modem if your computer doesn't already have a modem installed. It is also easy to take with you, if you want to fax from your notebook. The alternative would be to use an online service, which requires a monthly fee.

Works, but hard to fit into some USB ports, 2007-08-23
It seemed to work fine as a modem, but it was difficult to fit into my laptop's USB port because the plastic casing reaches quite close to the USB connector. Your mileage may vary.
