    Homeworld 2, 2007-03-08
This impressive sequel to homeworld and homeworld:cataclysm shares the innovative game play that no other game can claim. With its new graphics and sounds and remade story, this game far bye stands out as one of a kind. All that are familiar with its predicesors will easily get back into the game play as not many features have changed. Ships and races seemed balanced enough as you go through the game trying to save your race once again. Overall, homeoworld two is just as good if not better then the previous 2, so as it stands its a great purchase.

    Homeworld 2 ROCKS!, 2007-01-15
This game Homeworld 2 ROCKS!! Great graphics and awsome spaceship designing. I play this game over and over and never wanted to get away, its so addicting. I love it..

    Homeworld II , 2007-01-12
Homeworld was a tough act to follow and although HW II performed admiraly, it didnt compare to the original.
they story dosnt follow the stories from either the HW or Cataclysam. the gameplay is to choped up with the storie and the gameplay is alot more linear than the original. You dont expect the sequel to a best selling game to have fewer ships, more restrictions and apparently inferior tecnology(in gameplay).
The new game engien is great, but the rest of the game needs work. If they would have kept to the original story, made more ships, and had fewer restrictians this game could have been another amazing addition. but as it is, i can see why HWII didnt make a big splash.

    Excellent game! BUT......, 2007-01-10
my copy is completely washed in red! The opening logos, the main menu and the gameplay. Everything is washed in a sandy red color and there seems to be no real deviation from that. I did not have this problem with the last Homeworld. Anyone else have a similar problem?

This is one of those games that make you feel small and insignificant., 2006-08-30
When you start this game you wouldn't expect it to be anything to special. There aren't any big impressive intro cut-scenes, just the game makers insignias. The main menu itself has no impressive grafics, but once you click on single player the fun begins. The inro cut-scene puts you right into the game with a little history, and then a transition from a rendered scene of what is called a Hyper-space core, to an in game shot of two resource collecters latching on and transporting the core to a mothership. This is where I was suddenly swept away by this game. The shear size of the ships you can command. One of my favorites is the largest offensive ship in the fleet; the Battlecruiser. The size and capabilities of each ship is what gets me about this game. I don't even need to mention the actual gameplay itself; just look at my rating. I recommend this game to any rts fan. It's quite a change from the standard X and Y battle fields with the addition of the Z axis. Have fun gamers.
