 Nice while it lasted..., 2008-02-11
We've had this elliptical for a year and a half. In the first year, we had to have the computer replaced 3 times, which was covered under the 1-year warranty. The computer broke again a few months ago, so we could still use the machine but could not adjust resistance. Now one of the pedals is falling apart, making the machine unusable. We enjoyed using the elliptical - it had a smooth motion and was quiet, although it's not gym quality - but in our experience it was not reliable.

Been using this now for a year and a half. Recommended by a personal trainer as a great value for this price range.
Electronic monochrome LCD panel to show distance, calories burn, time, pulse rate and built-in exercise programs
Need some assembly - around 20 minutes
Price when bought - less than 400$
Pros:
-Fantastic customer service. I had a chance to call customer service (Fitness Quest) when the LCD computer panel broke. There was no hassle during the call. They sent me another panel quick and at no cost to me.
-Why spend 500$ or even 1000$ for ellipticals? This do the job for us as the expensive ones.
-Easy to move. It has wheels and you do not need another person's help to move it around the house.
-Not too bulky. Does not occupy a lot of footprint.
-12 levels of resistance.
Cons:
-A bit squeaky
-Does not feel as solid and heavy as the expensive brands.

Eclipse Elliptical 1100HRA, 2007-04-18
This is a great value for appx $300 which includes shipping. I am in pretty good shape and workout in the gym regularly. I feel that I get a harder workout on this machine then the elliptical I use at the gym. Even at the lowest level of resistance you will get a good sweat and burn lots of calories. Highly recommended.

The product features everything one needs to have a complete workout. Small but sturdy when compared to the bigger gym equipment and its a space saver.

 Decent for price, computer could be much better, 2006-11-22
This trainer works ok for the price - it works fine with me at 275lbs. However, the computer needs work - if left on manual mode, it shuts off after about 5 or 6 minutes. The only way to keep it on is to change the tension level. It serves its purpose for something inexpensive, but not nearly as nice as the gym quality models.
