    Shaka Zulu - Revisited, 2009-05-15
I first saw this series on TV years ago. The saga of Shaka Zulu while portrayed through the eyes of a British officer still offers the viewer a panoramic dramatization of life of the indiginous tribal peoples of South Africa during those times. I recommend this series to everyone interested in the man and leader known as Shaka Zulu. You will not be disappointed.

This Video collection was all I expected. I trully enjoyed watching the series when the first came out back in the 80's and watching them again.

    Excellent, 2009-04-20
I first watched, this Epic when I was about 13, and still it has a powerful impact of wisdom. "If the leopard were given wings to fly he would be foolish to refuse them". This is up there with Lord Of The RIngs if even more because it's history of a highly intelligent king that was always thinking and learning things from the outside world "Shaka".

    An excellent moive/documentary, 2009-02-13
This is a very good movie to watch on one of those Saturdays when you just feel like staying at home and relaxing. It could also be watched an hour a day over a period of time as mini-episodes. This movie has a way of drawing you in and you don't even realize you are getting a history lesson in the process. Bravo!

The parents have been requesting this series for a while now, and it was the perfect holiday gift. It's nothing like the typical African American movies we're used to seeing every year because of a certain holiday or time frame; so, it was fitting to shed a little more light on my history with my family (young and old) with something new.
