amazing, 2008-11-17
great series. the documentary and making of the series was especially impact-full. The metal case is also a great feature.
Even better on DVD, 2008-11-11
The series is awesome, and it's even better on DVD. The extras are very nice.
 For a REAL military movie check out 'In The Army Now' w/ Pauly Shore or "Ernest Joins the Army", 2008-11-08
This is another stupid and fake military movie. The plot makes no reference to anytype of actual event in history, and they joke around too much in the movie. Plus, why would they make a series out of such a lame excuse for production.
For military movies with Purpose check out 'In The Army Now' by the excellent Pauly Shore, and "Ernest Joins the army"

Band of Brothers, 2008-10-12
Great series. My husband has wanted this for quite sometime. He was greatly suprised when he opened the box. My uncle fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was taken prisoner by the Germans. This series protrays the battle "spot on" to what he told us about it.
Thank you HBO for putting it out on CD's.
