Works on Linux!, 2008-08-09 I added this product to my list of the best games of preschoolers quite a few years ago. I was browsing through all the games available for linux and was pleasantly surprised to see this game listed. I'm so glad to see more mainstream game publishers taking the time and energy to include linux when they are developing games!
reading with the rabbit , 2008-01-24 Peter Rabbit preschoolhas very playable games that are fun while focusing on word reconition and first letter sounds which later come together with spelling games. My kids love all the reader rabbit games they are fun and educational. The 5th star is reserveddue to the incompatiblity with MacOs. You need to run classics, which you have to download...it's touchy. We need more software for the Mac!

Great learning!, 2007-01-11 Our son started with this when he was 4, and just played with the mouse. He began reading and following along, and he just loves the program. We have several Reader Rabbit programs, and I HIGHLY recommend them for your little learner. A great buy!

Works with Special Needs Kids, 2005-07-14 I was amazed that after only about 2 weeks of playing with this, my 2 year old son was actually able to figure out the games. He has severe language difficulties, sensory issues and behavior problems. Usually he could not sit long enough to play a computer game because there was not enough interaction for him. He loves this game and points to the computer all the time to try to tell me he wants to play. He is actually trying to "count" to 5 with the game and "sing" (in his own gibber-jabber language)some of the songs. There is no exact mouse clicking to frustrate him. Anything close works! This is an awesome game for toddlers to feel like the big kids and not be frustrated.

Fun program, nice songs, 2005-02-25 It is quite a stretch to call this 'pre-school'. My 4 year old quickly became bored with it, and the math sequence is interminable and goes on for what seems like forever. My 2 1/2 year old took to the challenges more readily, learning mouse skills, colors and shapes, and some basic words. This doesn't attempt to teach reading or the alphabet. The whole story about 'Pirats' (sic) - space faring rats - is rather fun, and my kids really enjoyed the songs
