 Checkmark is Great!, 2006-11-20
I was in search of a payroll software. After reading the reviews posted on Amazon, I decided to try the software for myself. I went Checkmark's website and downloaded the demo version. I was intimidated at first, but after an hour of playing with the software, I became very comfortable with it. I decided to purchase the software, and it has been a great investment. Instead of paying a outsource payroll company, I have saved thousands of dollars by doing it myself.

I am not the most computer literate individual, but was able to get Checkmark Payroll up and running quickly (after reading the manual). It does all that I need it to do.

 DO NOT BUY THIS FROM AMAZON.COM!, 2006-07-14
I ORDERED THIS SOFTWARE FROM AMAZON ON JULY 6TH -
1) FIRST SHIPPMENT DID NOT HAVE A CD-ROM IN IT (NO SOFTWARE), I RETURNED THE SOFTWARE (AS INSTRUCTED) FOR A REPLACEMENT.
2) SECOND SHIPPMENT (REPLACEMENT FOR THE FIRST) DID NOT HAVE THE CD-ROM IN IT EITHER (STILL NO SOFTWARE), WHEN I WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS TO REQUEST A REPLACEMENT - THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL:
"I am sorry that your replacement shipment was also problematic.
As it seems that the problem with this item is more widespread than
we originally thought, we are not able to send another replacement.
We will investigate and remedy the situation with the item; however,
I cannot guarantee when the error may be fixed."
I STILL DO NOT HAVE A RESOLUTION TO THIS!

Sceptical but OVER THE TOP HAPPY!!, 2006-05-19
I bought this software from Amazon; last March (05). I spent weeks looking, calling and trying different payroll and accounting software. CheckMark is awesome; I run a small business with four employees. You can't get setup and running any faster or easier. If you like effortless software with great support get CheckMark - Like one of my bosses said to me one time "keep it simple stupid" CheckMark is simple but powerful and easy! You can't go wrong; it might have taken me a year to write this; but that benefits you! Get it!

Checkmark Payroll is great., 2006-02-26
I found this program easy to set-up and use. I was using it in less than an hour.
