When Mariah Was As Pure As The Driven Snow..., 2005-12-27 I've always admired Mariah's voice her ability to sing so high seemingly effortlessly, without losing emotion or the ability to reach her audience. She is definitely one of the greatest VOICES of her time. This album reminds me of my childhood and the songs that my aunts use to listen to when we rode in the car. This album also reminds me of a different Mariah, a sweeter Mariah. A Mariah who seemed to be more concerned with releasing music with depth and encouragement. This album is a showcase of Mariah's greater works. Songs like Vision of Love, Always Be My Baby, Butterfly and I Still Believe are love songs that reflect the innocense and steadfastness of love. Hero and Make It Happen are songs inspiring lyrically, Make It Happen is upbeat and catching instrumentally and Hero has a peaceful melody that you could meditate to. When You Belive is another inspirational track sang with another great voice of her time WHITNEY HOUSTON, this song is from the Prince of Egypt soundtrack. With the exception of a few songs (Thank God I Found You, Can't Take That Away) these are definitely Mariah Carey's greatest hits. It's ashame that at some point Mariah lost her voice, not her ability to reach high notes, not her ability to sing on key. But her ability to sing meaningful music with HER CLOTHES ON.

Excellent Collection, 2005-12-24 This album is highly listenable, not only for Mariah Carey fans, but for non Mariah fans like me as well. Mariah is a highly talented songwriter and singer. She should have stayed this way. Her newer stuff is good, but it is nothing compared to her 'older' stuff. A very very comprehensive collection. A must have for all music lovers.
i love tiz album, 2005-12-08 After Mariah Carey's new album release of "The Emancipation of Mimi" in 2005. This album impacted her life by helping her reach the top. Personally I love this album, I love her voice, her words and most importantly I love the lyrics. My reason for loving this album is very simple; it's mainly because I can personally relate to this album. Songs such as "shake it off", "we belong together", "mine again", "one and only", "I wish you knew" and many others. This already makes 5 songs out of the whole entire album. Therefore, this album did make it to my top of the list for the year of 2005.

Mariah Carey is Crazy and so are her Fans, 2005-11-26 The following is a direct excerpt from Mariah's "TeamLamb" website:
Lets Help Madonna's Album Flop!!
Welcome to TeamLamb, an organized team of Maria Carey fans. Our purpose is to keep Mariah, the biggest female musical icon of all time, on top.
Unfortunately, the no-talent slut, Madonna, is still being referred to as the "Queen of Pop," even though her most recent album, American Life, and her Reinvention Tour have really made her the "Queen of Flops." Madonna used to be successful, but that's because she slept her way to the top. Mariah, on the other hand, has sold millions of records based solely on her amazing talents and being a great role model.
Mariah has had sixteen number one singles. Her last two number one singles, "We Belong Together" and "Heartbreaker" have broken worldwide records everywhere. Mariah's most recent Charmbracelet tour was a critically acclaimed smash that played to millions all over the world. Roger Friedman, a well respected music journalist, called the concert one of the greatest he's seen in the past ten years. Mariah is, indeed, the biggest musical sensation since the Beatles.
Within the next couple months, Madonna will try to take away Mariah's crown by releasing "Confessions on a Dance Floor" along with the single, "Hung Up." There seems to be a lot of buzz , but most of it seems generated by Madonna's desperate, pathetic fans. TeamLamb will do everything we can to make this project a flop for Madonna. [...]
