 I love her greatest hits CD, 2006-03-11
I have loved Mariah Carey since she first stepped out in 1990. I can listen to this CD over and over and never get sick of listening to it, that is how great Mariah Carey's voice is. My 15-month old loves to watch and listen to her, he gets so mesmerized when he sees her videos on TV! My PC scratched the first 2 songs, but that's okay, I'll probably end up buying another CD. Overall, I'm glad I bought it.

Mariah Carey - Greatest Hits, 2006-02-22
I LOVE Mariah's energy...I like her older stuff better than the new and this double CD was great!!! If you like Mariah, you'll love this. She really gets you going!
Talking about the status of a SUPERDIVA or a SUPERSTAR...., 2006-02-16
Well , Mariah got it and this great CD shows it all !
Her label mate and co-star from the Columbia/Sony years , Regina Belle is an ecellent , solid , always uncompromising , engaging and consistent performer who has churned out some really nice tracks in the last 18 years.
I'm into Rnb/Soul/Hip Hop, but I have no problem saying that I own this really good set of songs.
Her music has always been ground-breaking,adventurous and extremely good.
"Baby Come To Me" is her signature track, and most people's favourite Regina track. It's a perfect track and one which she will always be able to say is a "classic". This track will get played on radio in another 20 years time.
"A whole New World" is a track with that 90's feel which is catchy but it's track # 3 "So Many Tears" which I love. It's a perfect song for someone you love, and the lyrics are what most of us think of in that situation. It's tracks like this that makes Regina a true star and a real woman with something to say.
"Make It Like It Was" and "If I Could" are two soulful tracks. The latter being more hearfelt and deep about a mother and her child. Great stuff.
"What Goes Around" is classic Regina. It's her sophisticated sound. "Show Me The Way" is a heart wrenching number, which has some fantastic sax riffs, and a track which only her voice could make sound so real.
She does a jazz cover-medley of the classic Marvin Gaye and Donny Hathaway tracks that is "Save The Children/Someday We'll all Be Free". Its a spectacular effort,and unmatched masterpiece and you won't be skipping it.
The song "A Whole New world" was the killer track that went to number one, and really put her firmly on the map. It still gets lots and lots of airplay today and will for many years to come.
I've nearly forgot to mention the absolute classic duet "All I Want Is Forever". This track was superb when it was released all those years ago - and it still is today.
Regina will never have the superstar status that some have (just think about somebody like Janet Jackson or Celine Dion...In my modest opinion,she outclasses them by far !!!), but I think that she really doesn't care and is happy to be making good quality music that people enjoy.
This set is superb listening and 74 minutes pure,sublime delight for your heart and soul.

 sounds more like a collection of rejects and discards, 2006-02-12
I was so happy that an awful singer like MARIAH(SHRIEKY)was overlooked for the most important awards at the grammys.In fact the very fact that this lousy singer won even one award is surprising.Calling this collection of horrible songs as greatest hits is a big joke.Please DONT and I REPEAT DONT buy this collection.For good music get the very best of IRON MAIDEN instead.No stars.

Mariah Carey is one of the best artist today and with 17 #1 singles, she has proved herself to be one of the best.
In 1990, she released her self-titled debut and produced #1 singles from one album- I Don't Wanna Cry, Vision of Love- her first ever chart topper, Love Takes Time and Someday.
She hit #1 with Emotions, Can't Let Go and Make It Happen.
Her album, Muisc Box, produced #1 singles, Dreamlover, Hero, Without You.
Her album, Daydream, produced #1 singles, Fantasy and One Sweet Day- 16 weeks #1.
Her album, Butterfly, produced the #1 singles, My All and Honey.
Her album, the Emancipation of Mimi produced the #1 singles, We Belong Together, Don't Forget About Us and the top five smash, Shake It Off.
It's clear that Mariah Carey has outlasted Whitney Houston and Madonna and has cemented her place in history as the #3 artist with the most #1 singles. Only the Beatles had more #1 singles.
Mariah is a legend and one of the best artists today!!
