Trigun and Vash The Stampede !, 2006-05-22
I'm quite new to Trigun and am not much of an anime fan, but this one is an exceptionm hehe. After watching the show from borrowing a DVD from a friend (the Wolfwood VOLUME), I became hooked on the whole concept of the show and this mysterious Vash The Stampede. His character is hilarious as he does dare-devil stunts in a humorous and clumsy manner (him and Wolfwood are a great team). He seems like a mysterious gunman from the very first episode, but when you get to know him as you witness the later episodes, you find him quite enjoyable and fun. As I said before, him and Wolfwood are great together and I wish Wolfwood didn't die later in the series. The collector's tin is great, along with the awsome bullet necklace. A MUST HAVE for the fans of course.

    This is AWSOME, 2006-03-21
This is just a great series and you get some pretty cool extras like the necklace, it takes up less space and a sweet case and a bunch of orignal japanese extras on the dvds and box.

    Hilarious, 2006-03-21
You can't really set expectations for this series. The reasons being for that is because it has two distinct flavors that are seperated halfway through it. In the first few episodes, the series takes on a comedic center with hints of something dark on the horizon. The second half deals more fully with the dark past and present of the main character, Vash, and his internal stuggle to uphold his promise to take no life. All in all, I find myself constantly watching the episodes form the first half of the series and some of the last few episodes where everything falls into place.

    I couldn't see the end because I was so bored , 2006-02-26
I really do not understand how so many people can say this is one of the best animes they have seen. From the beginning of the series I was convinced that I wouldn't like it but I kept watching because some people said that the series become more serious as the chapters were closing to the end.

Let me say that the come is very, very, very bad the story line is boring, the characters development is week specially for the first character "Vash" who I was not intrested at all because of the riddiculous jokes and behavior. Action sequences were even worse.

This is anime is very inmature. I gave it 1 star because I could not give "0"

Not the most action packed, but it still delivers, 2006-01-23
Not what I would call an action anime. It had its moments but overall left me wanting alittle more. It had alittle romance but it never went anywhere with it. I like my actions to have alittle bit of a romance, it helps with the story lines I think, but thats just me.
Anyway, Vash, the hero, was alittle too much of a sissy to me, but if you actually watch actions for story lines, it shows or tells you why it is that he avoids violence. Something terrible happened to him and hes been avoiding killing anyonne and tries to avoid the use of his gun as much as possible.
All in all I liked this anime, it was good, not great. It filled me up, not to the top of the glass but close and I applaud its effort. Its a good anime for any collector to well, collect.
