 One of the best games ever, 2008-01-22
This is a great game. Excellent replay value. Multiplayer is the best. All the expansion packs are in this box set, so you;re good to go.

One of the best RTS of all time!!, 2007-09-21
I absolutely love the Age of Empires series. The first one was good, but Age of Empires 2 is far superior in every way. With many cusomizable options right from the beginning, this game will entertain for years. Only real flaw I have seen with it is the population cap of 200. Otherwise, this is a great game. Nice way to learn history and have fun at the same time. Will run well even on older machines too.

 Addicitive fun and games, 2007-09-17
This game is shockingly addictive and can waste a lot of time when one could be doing much better things, like tidying one's room.
It is well set up, the options are well thought out, and a multiplicity of combinations can be enjoyed. From very easy to quite challenging - if you enjoy being killed frequently in the hardest level - leaves the player almost everything that the scope of the game allows.
Can be used as single or multi player, with lots of different special weapons/fighters etc.
Highly recommended.

Much better than the first., 2007-07-09
A remake of a classic strategy and war game. It improves on many of the features the original AOS has such as unit queing (sp?) and waypoints. Definitely enjoyable. However, some civilizations are seriously overpowered... play around and enjoy yourself, but you can get slaughtered in multiplayer. Download the balance patch as soon as you are able.

This game is awesome. I love being able to play other people and demolish there civilizations. I also enjoy playing the campaigns. AWESOME. It can be as easy or as hard as you want. If you want a challenge and love strategy games... This is it!!!!! What is the hardest setting you can get too?!?!
