The Newspaper for the Tech Age, 2003-06-27
Wired has found that fine line between informative and entertaining reading, then goes a step further and defines it. I have 14 magazine subscriptions, and Wired is the only magazine I read more than once after the first read. Keeps you abreast of all the new tech toys, whats going on politically with telecomunication companies, the FCC, electronics companies, and everything between. It plays to the interest of geeks, as well as the novice interested in computing and electronics.

    Techno-Fetishism Monthly, 2003-06-22
Wired's typography and information design have always fairly screamed "We Are Cool And You Are Not", as an in-crowd come-on to geeks who always hungered to be thought of as kewl. It's very best writing reaches the level of Entertainment Weekly, but it's primarily a shill-rag for memes that profit power-players, replete with power-worship and techo-fetishism. For better or worse, though, it's must reading if you want to understand where the "thought leaders" are headed -- in much the same way that EW or People Magazine is must reading for people who want to understand where popular culture is headed.

    Amazing magazine, 2003-06-20
Wired has been the magazine that I've enjoyed the most. I am desperately waiting each month for it to come. I've been a subscriber for 3 years and before that, I used to read it online. The only thing that annoys me is the high volume of advertising, but I've got used to it.

I read about 80% of the articles every month and still I think they are the best on new trends of technology.

I highly recommend this magazine for technology enthusiasts and techies. It really worths the money.

    GREAT!, 2003-06-02
My teenage boys are computer geeks and they love this magazine. They always look forward to it coming in the mail. They even use it for homework assignments. Even my 19 year old son who is in college uses it for homework. He is majoring in the 'MultiMedia' field. His school recommended it. It's full of great information and wonderful graphics. It's a great value when you subscribe yearly too.

    Cool!, 2003-06-02
This is a great magazine for all network junkies, and ones that are also directed towards the mainstream crowd of consumer electronics and video games. This is NOT a hardware magazine, so be warned: If you want a hardware magazine, get Maximum PC. If you want the best of networking and consumer electronics, there is not much better than Wired.
