Based on what I read here I went elsewhere., 2007-09-06
I wound up going with Matilda's Fantastic Cookbook Software, found here:
Matilda's Fantastic Cookbook Software 3.1 Does basically the same thing but there's no limit to the number of recipe cards. And you can print full size cookbooks too.

    Demo Product - Beware!!!, 2006-11-06
The description provided on the website for this product is misleading. I purchased this product and was excited to type in my recipies. After typing in only 5 recipies I was informed that the software was only a demo and I would need to purchase additional software for $30 to store my recipies. When you purchase this product, beware that you are only purchasing printable recipe cards, NOT the software to type in your own.

    Totally Frustrated, 2006-07-26
I bought this in June to print recipes for a wedding gift bag. Thank God I started early!! The 10 free recipes did not work at all. When we called DVO they said that it was a trial program & software from 1992. We were actually paying for the recipe cards. They gave us a link to "correct" our software for the 8 recipes we had purchased {they said was 10 not accurate}.It still did not work. I went ahead & for $19.95 got the "new" software link. The software actually is good & easy to use. Recipe cards has been an other issue. Their cards are very pretty but we can not find cards anywhere else that work. I wanted plain 4x6 cards for several recipes. First DVO ran out. Today I finally got the 240 blank cards I started requesting in early July & they have the perforations in the wrong place & don't work. I called DVO & they had just realized the problem. Mind you, I called them a week & a half ago to be sure that they were in stock. They sent them out without even checking. Now it will be late August before I MAY see the cards. The wedding is mid Sept. & I am not certain I can get it done. The program is actually good. I think that they need competition to get their act together.

    I'm pretty happy..., 2004-06-08
I was going to buy some blank white Avery 3x5 cards to print recipes on but I did a little digging and found this product. I was reluctant to buy it because of the other review I read but I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did!

The cards work great! My recipes look so much better on these cards than they would have on the blank white Avery cards. And, these are less expensive than the plain white cards too!

Some of the perforations could have been cut better but over-all I'm pretty darn happy about this purchase! I'm very glad I went with these cards instead of the plain white ones.

    I highly recommend this product.

    Waste of money., 2002-01-03
I also thought I'd be able to "create my own recipe library" just like it says on the box. You can only enter ten recipes since this is not a "fully functional version." All you're really getting are pretty recipe cards. Since there's no print preview function, you have to print long recipes first on blank paper to see if you need to adjust the fonts to get it on one page. I think it's a total waste of money.
