Lightning Jack - DVD, 2008-09-29 I like Paul Hogan movies. They are uplifting with just the right amount of humor. This one is especially good, especially the part where Cuba Gooding Jr. is asked to suck the snake bite out of Paul's rear. The look on Cuba's face was priceless.

Funny Western, 2007-01-03 Funny is as funny does and this is funny. For Cuba fans it's really great.
Likable and entertaining Western / Comedy, 2006-08-01 Should have been called the 'Legend of Cactus Jack', but anyway...'Cro- codiel Dundee' goes west and robs banks using Havana Gooding, Jr. (play- ing a deaf mute with a slade to write on!) as foil or diversion. Well filmed, with good performances all around and believable if not taken too seriously. Well, at least it's better than Snow Dogs!
The Product That Never Was, 2005-09-12 Product was ordered, alledgedly in stock. One month later it remains "in stock."

The Whole Family Liked This Western Comedy!, 2004-06-25 Yikes, some people just don't like Paul Hogan, do they? After seeing a surprisingly negative review of this movie when I logged on to buy the DVD, I decided to add my two cents. This is a VERY entertaining movie. It's well-paced, originally plotted and funny! Really. As the two heroes of the story fumbled their way through one sloppy crime after the other, I chuckled and looked forward to each new scene. This is not just for hardcore Western lovers. My mother enjoyed it, my kid loved it, my brother liked it, etc. That's why I'm buying it. Of course, I happen to like my westerns light -- think of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Quigley Down Under, Support Your Local Sheriff, Shanghai Noon, etc. I give it 5 stars for being purely entertaining. (Made me go rent Crocodile Dundee. I liked that, too.)
